A little about me
I was born in Stockport in 1974 and went to school in Lincoln and then Northampton. After school I studied English and French at University.
I now live in Leicestershire with my husband and two children.
I have always loved language and especially poetry and I have enjoyed sharing my poems through this blog for the last year. In November 2025, I finished writing my debut collection “Something Like Perfection”. This is now available on Amazon (and in my local bookshop – Quinn’s).
This year, I plan to keep writing. Im going to see if I can get beyond the second round in The Bridport competition (someone has to, right??!) and hopefully write some more that you lovely folks enjoy to read.
