A little about me

I was born in Stockport in 1974 and went to school in Lincoln and then Northampton. After school I studied English and French at University.

I now live in Leicestershire with my husband and two children.

I have always loved language and especially poetry and I have enjoyed sharing my poems through this blog for the last year. In November 2025, I finished writing my debut collection “Something Like Perfection”. This is now available on Amazon (and in my local bookshop – Quinn’s).

This year, I plan to keep writing. Perhaps if you have a favourite subject that I write about and you’d like more, you could say so in the comments…
