I have posted this before, prior to doing this blog. But it continues to be sadly relevant for far too many families.

Fight

The system is broken
I’m all out of fight
I’ve phoned all the schools
I know what would be right

But it doesn’t exist
So do I just stop hoping?
Go on as we are
See how long we are coping?

I want rules stretched for us
As rules are too tough
Email them again
’Cause the help’s not enough

But it’s not just for my kids
Although they have SEND
It’s too hard for them all
So I try to defend
Want to solve all the issues
Education to mend
But what can we do
If the system won’t bend?
